The Sports Institute of Finland supports professional sports by operating as the leading sports training centre in the country. Our mission is to provide educational and developmental services in training and coaching. The training centre cooperates closely with sport associations and international partners to develop and carry out athletes' and coaches' training and education programmes.

Every year dozens of athletes and their coaches from different fields come to the beautiful Vierumäki scenery to train and learn. Vierumäki is well suited for arranging sports training camps with its all-round facilities and affordable full board accommodation.

Training centre

The training centre arranges different levels of educational programmes for coaches and everyone interested in coaching regardless of the sport. Our training services include, among others, video and online training, as well as a variety of training and exercise analyses.

International Ice Hockey Centre of Excellence

The International Ice Hockey Centre of Excellence organises educational events and training camps, produces educational materials and collects research data.
